  • Overview

    Karna, LLC is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for the coordination and completion of assigned projects. This position works on a government contract supporting the NIOSH World Trade Center Health Program. 

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for coordination and completion of a COTS implementation of Case Management software.
    • Conducts research and analyzes data, processes and systems related to assigned projects; develops, recommends, and implements project action plans.
    • Manages progress of projects and completes all assigned projects within specified time frames.
    • Documents and manages performance review/improvement process and related activities.
    • Develops and manages project budget.
    • Establishes and maintains databases and other systems.
    • Works collaboratively with internal and external resources.
    • Provides high-level administrative support to assigned departments/leaders.
    • Knowledge of Visio, PowerPoint and the Microsoft Office suite - advanced proficiency with these applications is preferred.

    Qualifications

    • At least five (5) years of experience as a Project Manager.
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver projects within the HealthCare Industry.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills in facilitating and leading cross-functional teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets and other financial skills.
    • Well-versed in Microsoft Office products.
    • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field.
    • Five (5) years of related experience required; experience with CDC preferred
    • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with groups or teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to confront and creatively manage conflict.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain required clearance.
