    Karna, LLC is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will be expected to work efficiently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders and maintain strict financial integrity.   


    • Coordinate with program personnel to prepare, maintain and submit Accounts Receivable Invoices to our external customers. Support collection efforts.
    • Assist with the processing of bi-monthly payroll and serve as the backup for processing payroll.
    • Assist with the administration of the Deltek CostPoint and Time & Expense environments including any corporate, cost center, or project-level architecture and setup.
    • Prepare and deliver complex financial/administrative reports and distribute to internal and external customers.
    • Perform duties in support of month end close process, to include reconciliation of accounts and analysis of monthly financial data.
    • Create, maintain, and update financial databases and spreadsheets and generate various financial reports as required.
    • Perform ad hoc analysis as required.


    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field (equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of relevant degree).
    • 5 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role, preferably in a Federal contracting environment.
    • Experience with Deltek CostPoint Accounting System: Billing and General Ledger modules.
    • Understanding of FAR, DCAA, CAS and GAAP Accounting regulations, procedures, and requirements.
    • Familiarity with billing requirements on CPFF, T&M, and FFP contracts.
    • Advanced MS Office Skills, particularly Excel. 
    • Financial accounting experience including skills in reconciliation, invoice preparation, processing financial transactions, and preparing financial budgets.
    • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and analytical skills.
