  • Overview

    The Business Analyst will be responsible for managing the requirements process by acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development/architecture teams to align business needs with a technical architecture and end-solution.

    Responsibilities

    • Elicits, analyzes and validates project requirements that result in new applications or enhancements to existing applications, systems and/or business process design.
    • Understands business issues and needs that translate into requirements to create the overall solution. Manage the end-to-end requirements process using tools to define the set of processes and approach for each project, as well as issue resolution.
    • Conducts peer reviews and assist clients in assessing the impact and opportunity of new technologies to enable new capabilities.
    • Prepares requirements packages, manages requirements traceability changes, artifacts, as well as develops reference and resource materials.
    • Reviews final technical design/solutions and may coordinate User Acceptance Testing.
    • Participate across the project lifecycle team to ensure requirements have been met to stakeholder specifications.
    • Must have expertise in requirements management, business process, applications and systems, negotiation skills, and RFP development and technical evaluation.

    Qualifications

    • At least three (3) years of experience as a Business Analyst.
    • Solid BA experience in large scale projects.
    • Performs feasibility analysis, scopes project, and recommends alternative solutions.
    • Ability to assess, analyze, articulate and define customer requirements.
    • Experience in requirements gathering, analysis and developing requirements specifications documents and use case documents.
    • Thorough understanding and experience working on various software development lifecycle models.
    • Ability to read and understand system specifications.
    • Well-versed in Microsoft Office products.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or related field of study.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance. 
    • Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills.
    • Proven ability to translate ideas and vision into product definition and requirements.
    • Proven ability to launch and support ideas and vision.
    • Proven ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proven ability to successfully partner with other organizations including technology, go-to-market, and device teams.
    • Strong written, verbal and oral presentation skills.
