Karna is seeking a Public Health Analyst to support a CDC communications project for the COVID-19 Vaccine efforts. The Public Health Analyst II will be tasked with providing scientific support to research, implementation, and evaluation studies relating to health communication and social marketing.

*this position is contingent upon contract award*

• Communicate with project areas regarding study activities and protocols
• Analyze technical assistance and communication data for reports, presentations and publications
• Assist in the review of study data for data quality
• Organize study files, including data and correspondence files
• Perform scientific, medical and research literature searches
• Perform technical assistance with partner agencies
• Prepare slides for scientific presentations
• Provide analytic support to multi-disciplinary teams in order to accomplish public health research and program goals

• Master’s Degree in public health, social science, health services research 
• Requires a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience
• Experience performing basic data analysis and producing data reports
• Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Experience providing oral presentations to live audiences
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to use software programs such as Microsoft Power Point, LiveMeeting, and SnagIt
• Strong skills in oral and written communication
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills
