The Senior Communications Specialist develops and executes communication campaigns, programs and initiatives to drive greater public engagement in and brand awareness of the overall client strategy and goals of the CDC's Division of Population Health. The successful candidate will provide writer/editor support services to the program staff of CDC’s Division of Population Health’s Applied Research and Translation Branch (ARTB). The candidate’s primary role on this project is to enhance branch, awardee, and partner communication and marketing efforts to support the implementation of the Prevention Research Centers Program (PRCP) and the Workplace Health Program (WHP). This will be accomplished through technical assistance, training, and support for ARTB awardees, and partners and the development and dissemination of health communication and integrated marketing strategies and products. Lastly, the candidate must be located in Atlanta, GA to attend frequent in-person meetings with ARTB in Atlanta, GA, including regularly scheduled project status meetings and ad hoc meetings, as needed.
