Overview

The Engineering Equipment Manager will play a key role in a contract providing general warehousing services, maintenance and repair of containers, biomedical equipment, and civil engineering equipment (CEE), and the production of Deployable Medical Systems (DEPMEDS) at The Navy Expeditionary Medical Support Command (NEMSCOM). The primary responsibilities include implementing and sustaining a program to manage, clean, operate, test, inspect, inventory, update, maintain, or coordinate maintenance, repair, and certification of various Civil Engineering Equipment (CEE) components.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, clean, operate, test, inspect, inventory, update, and maintain NEMSCOM Containers, Shelters, CESE, CEEI, and/or Advanced Base Functional Component (ABFC) tool kits.
  • Oversee the inventory management, maintenance, inspection, repair, and alterations of all NEMSCOM Civil Engineering End Items (CEEI).
  • Perform Limited Technical Inspections (LTI) of downloaded CEEI within specified time frames.
  • Manage repairs following manufacturer maintenance service manuals or technical manuals/specifications.
  • Ensure all CEE at NEMSCOM is in a ready-to-issue status and pre-assigned to EMF builds prior to task orders.

Qualifications

  • BS in Business Management or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience with Biomedical / Civil Engineering Equipment.
  • Flexibility to work hours as required, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dealing with multiple databases and large volumes of data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Interpersonal, teamwork, and relationship-building skills for effective contributions in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage competing demands and troubleshoot deficiencies.
  • Ability to pass a NACI background investigation and acquire a CAC Card.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
